The buzz in the world of prestige dining is loud at the moment, and we’re only too happy to be taking part and celebrating the crème de la crème in the culinary scene.

The Ledbury joins the likes of The Fat Duck and Alain Ducasse at The Dorchester with three Michelin Stars. From mushrooms grown in house to deer from their own estate, The Ledbury have reached new gastronomic heights.

The 2024 awards saw 6 new Two Michelin Star restaurants, two of which are the first ever Two Star Indian restaurants, Opheem in Birmingham and Gymkhana in London. We also would like to celebrate Trivet in London, Brooklands in London, The Glenturret Lalique up in Scotland and Cork’s Terre.

The Republic of Ireland’s culinary offering has benefited from the addition of 3 new One Michelin Star restaurants, Homestead Cottage, The Bishop’s Buttery and D’Olier Street

London celebrates 11 new One Michelin Star restaurants of various cuisines, including West African with Akoko and Chishuru, and Japanese with Sushi Kanesaka and Humble Chicken. Meanwhile, Mountain and Humo prove wood-fired cooking continues to be on-trend. 

Three of the new Stars can be accredited to some big-name chefs, Simon Rogan with Aulis, Yannick Alléno’s Pavyllon London and 1980 by Gordon Ramsay

Notting Hill and Mayfair are hot on the culinary scene with two new Michelin Star Restaurants, Notting Hill with Dorian and Ormer in Mayfair. 

Beyond London, there are 2 additional Michelin Stars awarded in Cumbria with Lake Road Kitchen (now the third Michelin Star Restaurant in Ambleside!) and Cedar Tree by Hrishikesh Desai

Heading east, mýse brings a Michelin Star to the tiny village of Hovingham. The restaurant has bedrooms attached, so is perfect for exploring a new corner of the country. 

Down south on the edge of the Tamar Valley, Crocadon have been awarded for their incredible field-to-fork approach.
