London Kombucha Bars worth visiting.

London Kombucha Bars worth visiting.

While dedicated London Kombucha bars are still far and few between, the number of regular pubs and bars selling kombucha in the capital is growing rapidly. Here at Real Kombucha, we’re seeing more and more people drinking our booch as an alcohol alternative and kombucha cocktails (with or without alcohol) are increasingly common on the city’s menu’s. We’re not surprised, therefore, to find that the city’s more forward-thinking watering holes are giving it a whirl.

With that in mind, we thought we’d introduce you to 10 great bars and pubs where we like to pull up a stool and get stuck into a bottle of cold kombucha. Bottoms up!

Lost Society

If the words “sensory overload” gets your pulse racing, then Lost Society is a London Kombucha bar made for you. Think art deco, think mouth-watering cocktails, think mixologists who aren’t afraid to put the good booch at the heart of things. Get yourself over to Battersea for a night worth having. Lost Society

The Understudy

We love The Understudy, not just because they’re one of the London kombucha bars to shout about, but because they fully support the idea of having a non-alcoholic drinks menu that goes way beyond sugary softs. The choice is plentiful, the location is wonderful, and they go the extra mile for non-drinkers. Grab your kombucha and sit outside watching the Thames roll by. Tell the world!

The Hoxton, Southwark

If you’re searching for truly sexy London kombucha bars, take note: when it’s glitz and glam you’re after, stare at the stars. 10 Degrees is perched 28 floors up at the Hilton Park Lane, and the view is as good as the booch. Perfect for anyone looking to combine their love of Instagram cocktail shots with sunset delights.

Redemption Bar

Redemption Bar has quickly become a must-visit spot for the capital’s non-drinkers. In creating this entirely non-alc bar, founders, Catherine Salway and Andrea Waters, posed one very important question: “Why should socialising always be at the expense of your health?” The answer led to the creation of a truly unique spot, with kombucha aplenty. And it’s growing! You’ll now find a Redemption Bar in Notting Hill, Shoreditch and Seven Dials.

Archer Street

Archer Street in Soho is now stocking the UK's best Kombucha, and it's a match made in heaven. This place is all about the experience, the sensation, the suspicion that you’ve slipped away from normality for an evening. It’s a bar that challenges the norm… and we can’t think of anywhere we feel more at home.

The Folly

Celebrated for its sense of escapism, The Folly is a lush, botanical spot only a stone’s throw from Monument Station. Part of the wider Drake & Morgan group, it’s a great spot for afterwork drinks and not at all bad for a bite to eat, either. While the City might not be the first place you think of when you’re considering non-alcoholic drinks, the growing Sober Curious movement has found a welcoming crowd amongst office workers who think the “work hard, play hard” ethic is better without a hangover. A London kombucha bar for the suited and booted.

10 Degrees Bar

If you’re searching for truly sexy London kombucha bars, take note: when it’s glitz and glam you’re after, stare at the stars. 10 Degrees is perched 28 floors up at the Hilton Park Lane, and the view is as good as the booch. Perfect for anyone looking to combine their love of Instagram cocktail shots with sunset delights.

Manetta's Bar

Step back into the 1930s in what must be one of London’s plushest cocktail bars, overlooking Green Park. Once the home of the city’s literary cognoscenti, this is the right spot to be in if you like a little history with your booch. And if you’re in no mood to leave the party afterwards, take a room in Manetta’s parent hotel, Flemmings. Now you’re really living.

China Tang

More swish, more swagger… but what else would you expect from the Dorchester’s exquisite China Tang? We’ve been huge admirers of the mixologists here for a number of years now, as they were among the very first we met with who saw the non-alcoholic kombucha cocktail as something to be celebrated. And so we’re always delighted for a chance to celebrate them in return.

The Garden Room

Bourne & Hollingsworth’s Garden Room in Charing Cross is another of those spots with a killer view and the general sense that you’ve arrived. Great for cocktails, great for a spot of food and great for brunch, too. Get there in time for the sunset (or the NYE fireworks… my word!) and you’ll be guaranteed a proper treat.
